Greetings! My name is Michael Tran-Taylor (he/him/his) and I am originally from a small town in Indiana. I attended college in suburban Chicago and North Central College where I majored in Sociology and Anthropology. I then received my Master’s Degree in Student Development and Counseling from Northeastern University in Boston. Prior to coming to UC Berkeley I worked for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.), the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY and Reed College in Portland, Oregon. My hobbies include cooking, traveling, and watching independent films and documentaries. I have passion for promoting sustainable living practices and environmental justice.
